Valdosta Board of Education members help out during National School Lunch Week

We had 6 Valdosta Board of Education members serve lunch to the high school students during National School Lunch Week Oct 13-17, 2008.  Those that helped out include Chairman Ricky Rowe, Dr. Joseph Brown, Annie Fisher, Willie Jones, Bill Love and Dean Rexroth.  Dr. Joseph Brown also served lunch to Southeast Elementary students.  The board members joined the school nutrition staff by wearing aprons, gloves and hairnets while serving students nutritious meals.  We thank our board members for their support and walking in our shoes for a few hours.
